Integrated Commodity-Based Approach to Interactive Large Data Visualization

The Scout project focuses on fusing together the capabilities of today's high-performance commodity hardware (e.g., graphics processors and Cell), ideas from both scientific and information visualization, and quantitative/numerical methods to provide scientists with an integrated environment for the exploration of ever increasing amounts of data.
