The Advanced Scientific Computing Advisory Committee (ASCAC) was terminated effective August 8, 2025. Current charges will be transferred to the new Office of Science Advisory Committee (SCAC). Learn more about SCAC.

ASCAC was established on August 12, 1999, and provided valuable, independent advice to the Department of Energy on a variety of complex scientific and technical issues related to its Advanced Scientific Computing Research program.
