Amber Crossman, Coach
Coach Amber Crossman has been teaching middle school for 19 years and has been at Davis Drive Middle School since 2006.  She enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the great outdoors.

Avery Yang
Avery Yang is a 14 year old boy who is in eighth grade. In his free time he enjoys playing video games, playing tennis, and relaxing with friends. Outside of school he participates in MATHCOUNTS, Science Olympiad, and Science Bowl.

Shunav Sen
Shunav Sen is an eighth-grader who likes programming and science. He is interested in computers, language, space, and evolution. He reads books, of which some of his favorites are Hatchet, and Unwind. He also enjoys playing video games, but is bad at most of them.

Tejasvi Shirolkar
Tejasvi Shirolkar is an eighth-grader who, simply put, enjoys learning. Tejasvi is not sure about what she wants to do later on yet, but is interested in biology (specifically anatomy and physiology), economics (macro and micro!!), political science, and random art pieces she finds on Pinterest. However, she is certain she wants to be in a job where she can give back to her community!! A couple of places on Tejasvi’s bucket list are Dublin, Zurich, Auckland, and Istanbul. To start a conversation, Tejasvi will probably ask, “Have you watched Gilmore Girls?”, and if somebody replies no, she will launch into discussion, telling her personal opinions about the show. She thinks one thing is certain however— Paris Geller is the best character in the show. Tejasvi is looking forward to an amazing competition!

Adhav Kumar
Adhav Kumar is an eighth-grader whose favorite topics are science and history. His favorite fields are physics and chemistry and he would like to pursue a career in these areas. He enjoys playing chess and basketball and is always looking to get better. Adhav likes playing a wide variety of sports and games of any kind, and playing the violin. He loves riding his bike and is very competitive. He enjoys reading books of any kind but especially science-fiction. He often plays board games and solves puzzles and is very determined. He loves participating in Science Bowl and other academic challenges/competitions and is always looking to learn more.

Agasya Mukkapati
Agasya Mukkapati is a seventh-grader whose favorite subject is biology. She is most interested in botany and evolution. Agasya has been competing in Science Olympiad for four years and since then, has won many medals in both study and build events. In her freetime, she enjoys birdwatching, nature photography, and reading about psychology.
