The NSB volunteers have been the key to the success of the National Science Bowl® for the past 33 years and we look forward to working with YOU to help make the 2023 National Science Bowl® even better!! If you are interested in volunteering at a regional competition between January 2024 and March 2024, please email kelly.day@science.doe.gov

Volunteer Roles for In-Person NSB events:

During the competitions, volunteers are assigned to be competition room officials:

~ Important rules for moderators

~ Enforces rules of the game

~ Age 16 or older

Score Runner

~ Picks up scores from matches and takes to scoring room
~ Age 10 or higher
