Welcome Volunteers!

Due to the overwhelming number of volunteers this year, we are unable to accept any additional volunteers. Please do check back for the 2020 NSB! Thank you!

The NSB volunteers have been the key to the success of the National Science Bowl® for the past 28 years and we look forward to working with YOU to help make the 2019 National Science Bowl® even better!!

All ages (adults and students) and skill levels are encouraged to volunteer - students, grades 3 and higher, and student groups are welcome to volunteer for service hour credits. To prepare you for your National Science Bowl® adventure, we will hold training sessions in April 2019 at the U.S. Department of Energy.

During the competitions, volunteers are assigned to be competition room officials:
