Eric Zhong is a senior at Cypress Bay High School. He first started Science Bowl as a sophomore, but the more he competed the more he started loving science. In his free time, he loves to go out with friends, play recreational beach volleyball and tennis, and enjoys trying fast food secret menu items (but admits he is trying to cut down on it, though). His favorite functional group is the phosphate group because it makes things blow up and his specialty is asking philosophical existential questions.

Deven Mistry started his Science Bowl career all the way back in seventh grade, but this is the first time he will be competing at nationals. His favorite element is definitely lithium because it is used to make most high-powered batteries! Deven loves STEM like it is his child, and he also loves teaching it. He teaches engineering through his company to kids all over the world. In his free time, however, he dances Bhangra for the Florida Bhangra Crew. He also does photography, listens to R&B, and most importantly.. He is the biggest car guy you’ll ever meet and loves attending exotic car shows.

Mahadev Josyabhatla is a senior at Cypress Bay High School. He is overjoyed to be able to take part in nationals for the first and last time in his Science Bowl career. Mahadev started Science Bowl as a sophomore and learned to love the sound of people trying to smash their buzzers to answer a question. In his free time, he enjoys swimming and playing tennis. His favorite subject in science is chemistry.

Albert Wang is currently a junior at Cypress Bay High School. This is the first year that he has participated in Science Bowl, as well as the first year to be participating at nationals. Albert has always wanted to take part in Science Bowl, but never quite found the time to do it. So he is glad to finally have this opportunity. In his free time, he loves to play badminton and obsess over all kinds of tabletop games. His favorite element is sodium because it's salty, explosive in water, causes high blood pressure, and for whatever reason exists as a metal.

Vishal Suresh is from Cypress Bay High School, and will be attending the best school in the nation next year, Cypress Bay High School. He has been taking part in Science Bowl since eighth grade, but this is the first year his team qualified for nationals. Vishal loves playing recreational sports and exercising during his free time. His favorite food is sushi because it is a Japanese dish consisting of rolls of vinegar-flavored cold cooked rice served with a garnish of raw fish, vegetables, or egg. His favorite topic in science is physics because it has fire, and he loves to play with fire.
