SCGSR Awards and Publications

New Awards 

The 60 new SCGSR awardees of 2023 Solicitation 1 cycle come from 48 different universities across the nation, and will carry out part of their doctoral dissertation/thesis research in 13 DOE national laboratories. Their proposed research projects address scientific challenges central to Office of Science mission areas across 7 Office of Science’s research programs.


SCGSR Publications

The graduate thesis research conducted by SCGSR awardees in collaboration with scientists at US DOE National Laboratories contributes to increasing our fundamental understanding of nature in energy-relevant areas. The work of SCGSR awardees is aligned with the research priority areas of the 8 Office of Science Research Programs and addresses critical challenges in the physical sciences in support of DOE mission.
