Jennifer Berry

Jennifer Berry, PhD, is the Principal of the Academy of Science and Engineering at Stratford STEM Magnet High School in Nashville, Tennessee.  Dr. Berry has been recognized locally, nationally, and internationally for her work supporting STEM instruction and has received the following awards:

  • Department of Energy’s Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellowship award, where she severed in the Senator Bernie Sanders’ office on education policy;
  • Teacher to Teacher award from the U.S Embassy, where she provided professional development in Russia, Japan Fulbright Teacher Award;
  • Presidential Award Finalist for Tennessee;
  • Nashville Emerging Leader in Education;
  • Nashville Technology Educator of the Year; and
  • Metro Nashville Public Schools Academy Coach of the Year.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Masters in Teaching from University of Arkansas and a Doctorate of Education from Capella University.
